We are a family of 5 and felt the space was good. We were mostly out of the flat. This flat is in a complex with a courtyard view. It was quiet and people were friendly. There is an underground garage and it handled our large car. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to Santa Monica Beach with the pier very close. Past guests left a couple of beach chairs and boogie boards for use though we did not use them. There are plenty of places to eat. A friendly Italian restaurant is right by the entrance of the building and a Mexican a few minutes away near the VON grocery store. We got take away from the Mexican as it was small and popular. Universal Studios is about 25 minutes away and we climbed to the Hollywood sign (get there early and yes, you can get above the sign). We had enough towels and the washer/dryer were super handy.
this part is minor but more kitchen towels/cloths would be handy.
