Desa Cabins

Once we arrived and checked in, the grounds and sprawling cabin layout were the perfect antidote to the bumpy ride on the road in. Cute but small cabins, only 6 in total and a small but homely kitchen where they cook different menu's depending on the day. A highlight for us was the generously sized infinity pool, and plenty of sun loungers. This overlooks an expansive rice paddy run by locals and presents a peaceful beachfront rice farm with cows and ducks plenty nearby. Dog lovers may find this stay more enjoyable.

Probably avoid getting a massage till they've built the spa room. We were treated to a massage in a spare cabin but not something I would recommend for a relaxed therapy. The therapists tried their best. There's not much of a road leading in, not that the owners wear the blame for infrastructure but something to note. Bigger cars may fare better...ours was a tiny one.

Lovely rice farm view and beach view from the pool and the cabins, staff are extremely helpful and welcoming, I felt at home. The highlight for us were the dogs ❤️

Had the most enjoyable time at Desa Cabins. If you're looking for a peaceful, private and quiet place in nature and away from the crowds, look no further. The location is beautiful and serene, with nothing but ricefields and palmtrees around. The six triangle shaped cabins are very clean, spacious, and designed very thoughtfully with an amazing outdoor bathroom at the backside. In the common pool area you can relax in the comfy sunbeds and gaze at the open space greenery with a direct view of the ocean and stunning sunsets. A wild black sand beach with hardly anyone around is a 2 minutes walk away. The host Oma and her team are lovely people who took great care of us during our stay, cooked us tasty local food and organized everything we needed. With a scooter or car you can easily reach closeby surfing spots (Balian, Medewi) or explore the natural surroundings (mountains, waterfalls, etc). We initially planned to stay for 5 nights end ended up staying almost 2 weeks because we enjoyed it so much. Really can recommend this place. Will be back!!

Die Desa Cabins haben eine Traumlage in toller Natur mit unmittelbarer Strandnähe (500m zu Fuß durch Felder). Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und der Pool ist wirklich ein Highlight. Man sollte beachten, dass Grab/Gojek an dem Ort nicht funktioniert. Die Unterkunft bietet Transporte zum nächsten Ort an, alternativ sind es 30 min zu Fuß.

Der Service ist ausbaufähig. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und dennoch wurde uns wiederholt Fleisch und Shrimps serviert obwohl wir bei Anreise mitteilten, dass wir dies wegen Vegetarischer Ernährung, bzw. Allergie nicht essen. Geschmacklich war das Essen okay. Da man abends nicht aus der Anlage wegkommt ohne Roller/Auto hat man leider keine Alternativen. Dies ist etwas schade.

Sehr ruhiger, abgeschiedener Ort, aber gerade deshalb empfehlenswert, wenn jemand genau das sucht - Bodenständiger Luxus ohne Trubel. - Schöne Aussicht und tolle Reisfelder direkt am Standort und Umgebung. - Kabinen sehr sauber und gepflegt. - Das Essen (Frühstuck, Mittag und Abendessen) wird frisch für dich persönlich gekocht, und war jedes Mal wirklich ausgezeichnet, geschmacklich einfach so gut.

L’ambiance, une tranquillité, 3 jours de sérénité ! Merveilleux et le personnel au petit soin pour nous !

Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Das Essen war auch sehr gut.

Die Unterkunft ist zwar einfach aber hat alles was man braucht. Durch die Einfachheit bietet es einen unglaublichen Charme. Das offene Badezimmer ist so unglaublich wunderschön. Der Pool und die Strandnähe sind einfach perfekt und man ist geben von Reisfeldern und Natur. Das Personal ist super freundlich und geben sich unglaubliche Mühe. Das Essen ist richtig lecker und ausgelegt darauf, nichts zu verschwenden, was ich persönlich sehr mag. Das Mitbringen von Hunden war kein Problem und meine Hunde haben es geliebt. Es wurden Näpfe und Hundebetten zur Verfügung gestellt. Auch die Hunde die dort leben sind super freundlich und gut umsorgt.

Gibt es nichts.

Le lieu est vraiment magnifique. C’est un tout. L’emplacement, l’intimité, le calme, la nature et l’accès à la plage sont vraiment parfait.

Le personnel est très gentil mais ne parle pas bien anglais et c’est important pour une telle prestation. Les échanges sont limités. Le petit déjeuner peut être amélioré. Je ne m’attendais à faire mon café moi même pour un établissement de ce niveau.

Die Lage war ein Traum, ein wunderschöner Fleck auf Erden. Wären gerne länger geblieben um diesen noch mehr genießen zu können. Das Essen war auch sehr gut, sowie das Frühstück. Es ist zwar rundherum nichts aber genau das war für uns das Schöne an der Lage.

Es war alles TOP! Das einzige Manko war, dass wir laut booking.com die 1. Cabin gebucht haben = Aussicht aufs Meer, Reisfelder und Palmenhain) wir aber in der letzten untergebracht wurden (=Sicht aufs Restaurant) aber es war dort so schön, dass wir es einfach so stehen gelassen haben.
