We spent six absolutely amazing days at Mayana Beach House. We found exactly the peace, beautiful nature and the perfectly equipped and very tastefully designed house that we were looking for. Everything was amazing, be it breakfast, help/organisation of medication that we needed at short notice, transport, laundry or shopping.
Many thanks to the owner Dominic, Ayu, Kadek, Gusti and the other people who looked after the house and garden.
Keep in mind, that it is in the middle of the nature and you will need a motorbike or a driver.
If we have the opportunity again, we will definitely come back.
Ps: Heidi, the well-behaved and fully vaccinated dog, who almost belongs to the house and its surroundings, also brought great joy to us and our kids!

Prachtig uitzicht, super fijn huis. Fijne badkamers en de tuin is goed onderhouden. Je loopt zo de rijstvelden in en komt uit bij het strand

The house is built with love and to live in rather than straight rent out and one can feel it. It’s very cozy and does not get boring.
Most important, located among rice terraces, with a sea view and a really wild beach only 5 mins away. A spacious lawn and a big pool truly makes it a place of power.
As the owner Dominic said, this is not a place for everyone. Although we loved everything, one should be aware of the following before making their choice:
- living creatures: the house is in the middle of farming lands and has got a lot of harmless insects and lizards that often visit the house (living room and bathroom).
- location: it is a remote house away from big parties. Balian Beach village is not big and there are few places to go, absolutely no nightlife.
Besides, this is a no taxi area. They offer a scooter but if you cannot ride it, driver services are a little pricy.
