We spent 6 nights in Malgo and Tomek‘s wonderful hotel in Matemwe, Zanzibar after a dusty safari trip through Tanzanian mainland. The hotel provides the calmness, luxurious atmosphere, and superb food we were looking for, while still being in reach for activities like scuba diving and wing foiling. Special thanks go to Glory, Fred, Boniface, and chef Juma. We are very much looking forward to coming back.
The shower could have had a curtain.

Everything! A beautiful laid-back luxury boutique hotel with amazing facilities, where every detail has clearly been carefully thought! There is direct access to a beautiful beach, almost only for us, which makes the location truly special. The rooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable, with stunning views of both the pool and the sea. The breakfast was amazing, and the food and cocktails were also excellent. 5-star service! Malgo, the host, definitely knows how to run a small luxury hotel! She immediately made us feel welcome, looked after, and truly pampered! We had a wonderful time here and would absolutely love to come back!
