Marafiki Beach Hotel & SPA

Amazing setting right on the beach with great bar area overlooking the sea. Very good food and great breakfast. Very friendly staff, very relaxing. Can walk easily to other hotel bars and restaurants although we found Marafiki one of the best . Liked the free Yoga and village tour. Would highly recommend this place

Not much to see outside beach area but plenty of activities like boat trips and kite surfing available.

We loved everything. The location is paradisiac and the staff is absolutely lovely. The food and drinks are also much better than in nearby hotels.

Great location. Very beautiful and well kept resort. The swimming pools are big and clean. The entire resort, rooms included are super clean. The staff is super friendly, be it at the restaurant and bar as well as at the front desk. Special kudos to Magdalena The food was way above my best expectations. The chef deserves a big thanks 🙏 from breakfast to afternoon snacks and diners all without exception was delicious. Strongly recommend the seafood platter; whole fish; tuna tartar and crab crostini This is a resort you can go your eyes closed. Great value for money

This is not directly related to the resort hence the final rating is not impacted, however visitors should note that unfortunately the beach although with a huge potential is not well kept (litter, plastic, etc) and you are constantly harassed by vendors, maasais etc. This is something Tanzanians and its authorities should do something about if they wish to make Zanzibar a “return” destination

Amazing place to stay in and relax. All the stuff and team are so friendly and welcoming (Joanna, Silvia, Magda, Moses and the rest of the staff). Thank you for your hospitality and for making our trip remarkable.
