OYO Aparthotel Hathern – Loughborough

A great find to accommodate mine and my son's weekend. Clean and well presented. Only the mattress was a little on the harder side for me, but thats just my preference. Will use again when next in the area

Overall, the hotel did its job, but definitely improvements to be made. The first time I tried the online check in, it didn't work, but the page told me to wait whilst it loaded the details so I wasn't sure if it was working or not. The second time everything went through. We arrived later than our given expected time, which was no issue, but our access code didn't work for our apartment. Huge shout out to the gentleman on call (sorry I didn't get your name!) who immediately picked up the phone and sorted us out, even at 11pm. Made a stressful start much less so! The corridor areas of the building smelled like wet dog to me, which wasn't particularly pleasant. The room was basic but fine for a night's stay. There was a good sized under-the-counter fridge and a microwave. The bathroom could have done with a little more cleaning and the water temperature was a little temperamental, plus the bathroom door didn't properly close. Being close to East Midlands airport, you had people coming and going at all times, and unfortunately, we could hear each one of them go up and down the stairs! Might have just been the location of the room though. All in all, it was a convenient location for us and did the job for a night's stay, but I wouldn't stay for much longer. We didn't use the communal facilities so no comment on that. For the price it was fine.

Lovely convienient hotel needs a bit of up keep but certainly 9k for a night or too. Comfy bed, other guests were a bit inconsiderate but thats nit the hotels fault wouls stay again

A complete disaster, the code provided opened front door but did not work for the room. When I called customer services they were unhelpful and incompetent. They could not find the reservation code provided by hotels.com and told me to contact hotels.com directly (very difficult). Eventually some overheard me speaking to the customer service representative and called someone at the location who "helps" with problems. Very very poor! I would never stay at this location or any other associated locations again.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re stuck for options. The only part of my room that was (or seemed) clean was the sheets on the bed but a friend of mine had bedbugs in hers. Really grim shared bathroom: dirty, full of spiders. Building smelt of cigarettes (although room didn’t). Didn’t get the code to get in my room until 10pm on day of arrival. Just honestly a terrible experience.

When booking the room online it showed a kettle in the room but none provided, only one available was the one in the communal kitchen; found it odd when you had a fridge, microwave and toaster in the room we had; and no mugs, etc in the room. Cleaning wasn't at its best as you could clearly see loads of fluff and dust under the cupboard unit. Tired looking is what Id describe it as

We arrived on time, we completed the check in form but were not given any codes to access our room. We contacted the OYO 24/7 check-in help desk and they were no help, they asked us to contact Hotels.com. When attempting to contact Hotels.com there was no visible number and I was speaking to a robot/AI system that just continued to send me the same information I already had. I am yet to find a way of contacting Hotels.com, and am yet to receive any money back. OYO were no help and continued to repeat the same phrase time and time again. If anybody see's this, think twice before booking anywhere related to OYO.

Do not use this property. It was unclean stank of cigarettes and I had to leave because it had BED BUGS! I am never one to write a review but I’ve never stayed someone so gross and I don’t want anyone else to spend there money here! I’m still waiting on my refund too. £70 for bedbugs

Was nice area and room but the bathroom with the shower there wasn’t really anything to stop the water from the shower flooding the bathroom so only one of us ended up having a shower to prevent any more flooding

Pleasant location, hotel/bungalow very well maintained could have been a bit better if there was a kettle but not that important, staff obliging

No Staff,but instead everything is automated. Worked great. Price was very competitive. For one night stay that is exactly what I was needing. No dramas, no fuss, just quick check in and off to bed.

very basic, shared bathroom was grim, no soundproofing so drunk other guests arriving at 3am was a nightmare

Nice and quiet, clean rooms and easy to check in and out.

Clean & spacious. Easy parking & keypads for easy access.

The shared kitchen has everything you could need, including a washing machine.

Room was cold , radiator worked but didn’t heat the room up Yes I would use it again

After staying at this hotel, on the first night I received over 30 bed bug bites. My room was changed but I’m now unable to get refunded for booking I have at this hotel in the future even after showing the severity of the bites.

Disappointed wifi was down all night so had to create mobile hot spot all evening for the internet TV to work. Definitely frustrating butbthe room was clean cute & comfortable and generous side fridge was a good bonus

Room was modern and clean. Bed super comfortable. Slept like a log. Plenty of free parking. Entry to hotel and room using pin code access so check in confirmed online. Very convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

The bed and bathroom were clean, but everything else was a bit mucky. Floor clearly hadnt been hoovered, but didn't really affect the visit. No smell, and quick response when we couldn't find our room. All in all, convenient, and good value for money. We'll be using this place again, definitely.

We had a few issues finding our room. (We contacted the oyo number and the man was less than helpful....luckily i had whatsapp'd the other number too and 2 minutes after finding our room, a lovely man came and checked that we were in and ok. He explained that a sign had gone missing and thats why we struggled to find our room in a maze of corridors and stair cases.) We were very pleased with our room once we got settled. Could do with a few more milk containers in the room though.
