About this house rental
Looking for the perfect waterfront vacation home? Well search no further because this fully renovated home is located in the sought after neighborhood of Pompano Isles has it all !! With a heated swimming pool that can be used year round, 75 ft of water frontage that has direct access to the open ocean with no fixed bridges, a brand new 12,000 lb. boat lift, 2 machine floating jet ski dock, paddle boards, kayaks. This house is made for water lovers !! The outside patio offers a dining table and chairs, couches, big screen tv, music, fire pit, grill.
The inside is fully renovated with all new furniture, bedding, couches, tv's, etc. The master suite with a king bed and its own bathroom also offers an extra room attached that can be used as a fourth bedroom if needed or a private tv room. It also has a slider that has direct access to the patio and pool area.
The second bedroom offers a bunk bed with a trundle underneath that sleeps 2 adults and 2 children. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed with a trundle underneath that also sleeps 2 adults and 2 children.
The living room with its massive smart tv, has a sectional couch that turns into sleeper if needed to accommodate more guest.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need to make feast for you and your family, including a induction stovetop, blender, small coffee bar, Keurig , dishwasher, air fryer, etc.
Your only a 5 to10 min drive to all the best beaches in the area, Pompano's Beach Pier and some amazing restaurants located on the water!!

Quiet neighborhood and close to stores! Backyard was great!

We had an issue with the lock upon checking in, but the host was very responsive and super helpful in getting us into the property. We enjoyed the outdoor area the most. If you are a gourmet chef, the utensils in the kitchen were lacking a little but for our simple meals we had what we needed.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property. There were some drawbacks, however. I travelled to Pompano Beach with my wife, 2 children (age 2 and 6 months) and my parents, we stayed for 1 week.
PRO's:
1. The property: it is exactly as listed, no surprises.
2. Pool: it was heated, and fenced off which is good for kids. We really enjoyed the pool.
3. Back patio: we spent most time outside. It was easy to do with the fence blocking off the pool, lots of shade and places to sit.
4. Paddleboards: there are 2 stored in the garage along with plenty of paddles.
CON's:
1. Cleanliness: the house was tidy, but dirty. The floors were dirty, the bathrooms were dirty (hair and grime in the tub/shower), the pillows and blankets had stains and dirt on them. We spent the first day there scrubbing the place down. Not an ideal way to start your vacation. I advised the host of this and they didn't say much or apologize.
2. Communication: it is difficult to communicate with the host. They take an inordinate amount of time to respond (2 weeks to answer whether they had a pack and play or not, which mattered for our flight).
3. Instructions: or the lack of. Other than the code to check in they told us nothing. When is garbage day? Do we take it out? How do you use the pool heater? A pool cleaning company showed up one day and there were strangers in the back yard, we didn't know they were showing up.
We enjoyed the area and hope the host can improve cleaning and communication.
