This is our second stay at this property. We enjoy being close to the event that we attend, as well as restaurants! The home is neat and has plenty of room. My one negative is that there’s no fan in the bathroom but we just use a floor fan. The rates are very reasonable and property is perfect if you are hauling a trailer/bike. A few cons worth mentioning are that I messaged owner twice with no reply. So zero communication even after reaching out. Also the bunk beds were not made so we had to make our own beds. We arrived on a 85 degree day to a hot house because the window A/C units had not been turned on, so we had to go somewhere else until the house cooled off. Took about 6 hours. Would recommend to the owners to get a cutting board! It obviously isn’t visited by the owners because there’s still a Christmas wreath on the front door in the middle of summer!!! The fire pit had roof shingles in it and there’s a rundown trashy trailer right beside it in the same yard. But there is a nice view of the mountains in the from the property. If visiting in Summer months the bunk bed room doesn’t have A/C and stays hot. Besides that it’s a great location in the heart of Maggie Valley and Cherokee is only 30 minutes away
