The Ridge Bali

The Ridge Bali is the place to stay in Ubud! Everything at the hotel/ villa was perfect. All the staff were incredible, it was the best service we ever experienced at a hotel/ villa. All requests were responded to and fulfilled within minutes - direct WhatsApp communication with reception/ butler. The staff are extremely friendly and very professional and will do everything they can (and more) to accommodate guests. They always welcomed us warmly (and genuinely), responded promptly and went above and beyond. The villa itself is modern and beautifully decorated to a very high standard with everything you could want or need. The villa’s outdoor area is wonderful - the pool, relaxation areas and the view of the river/ rice fields and jungle areas are breathtaking! Housekeeping always made sure the room was very clean and well kept. The food at the restaurant (or in-room dining) is delicious and fresh. Special arrangements can be made with the hotel prior to arrival for special occasion with decorations, etc. I would recommend booking a car transport with the hotel throughout the stay for excursions and going to/ from restaurants, cafes, etc. The driver is very friendly and knowledgable of the local area. The Ridge Bali went above and beyond our expectations and we will definitely be back on our next visit to Ubud!

The trip was absolutely amazing! The villas were incredibly beautiful and luxurious, the services were outstanding, and the staff at the resort were very friendly and welcoming. It was truly a special experience, and I highly recommend everyone to visit this place and enjoy everything it has to offer. I would also like to sincerely thank Endra, the staff member who provided us with exceptional service. He was always available whenever we needed anything, and he even took us on a tour to several beautiful tourist spots in the area. He is a kind and respectful person who truly deserves appreciation and recognition. Thank you so much, Endra!

Every single member of the staff went above and beyond, anticipating our needs before we even knew we had them. The property itself is immaculate—each corner thoughtfully curated, every room spotless, and the design a perfect balance of modern comfort and Balinese charm. You can feel the love and care that went into every detail, from the lush gardens to the perfectly prepared breakfasts. Whether we were sipping coffee with a view, lounging by the pool, or just enjoying the calm, everything about The Ridge whispered peace and luxury. It’s the kind of place you never want to leave—and when you do, you carry a piece of it with you. To Indra, Ngurah, and the entire team: thank you for creating something truly magical. The best staff I met in Bali so far really friendly, the room was nice and the view was amazing. Breakfast was really good.

The location was set upon a ‘ridge’ overlooking the most stunning view. It’s not too far from the city centre (15min by car ) or adventures activities. Perfect spot.

Naturally it had some bugs, but that comes with the territory.

Villa with perfect view where you can see the jungle and river with quite surroundings. The room designed with perfect details and artistic interior design that makes your eyes spoiled.

What a beautiful place! We felt home from the very first moment. A warm welcome, from a exeptionally friendly and attentive staff. A very comfortable room with a extraordinary tasteful interior design and a spacious outdoor area with a plunge in Pool surrounded by lush plants. The view is spectacular and we enjoyed sunset with a chilled glass of white wine on one of the sun beds. Our charming butler Agung took care of all our requests all day long. A really delightful stay, on a highly recommendable charming place.

Everything perfect!

This resort is a hidden gem! It's tucked away in such a perfect spot, and it's amazing how the place transforms from a simple entrance to this incredible oasis. You feel like you're strolling through a tropical forest, which is super cool. The Villa and its view is stunning – you get this gorgeous mix of lush green forests, charming rice terraces, and the peaceful Ayung River where we were able to relax in a quiet and serene environment. And I can't forget to mention Agung, our personal butler. He made us feel special, almost like we were at home but even better. His attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made our experience unforgettable.

My wife and I have stayed in Bali on many occasions over the years. Our favourite location by far is Sayan Ridge and this new boutique hotel is absolutely fantastic. Its small so you feel really special, the staff are wonderful, particularly Made Puspa and the views, the views...easily the best we have experienced and we have experienced many. A really brilliant new addition to the scene in Sayan and I won't look further next time. Why pay more at the Four Seasons for views and service which frankly are far surpassed by the Ridge? Whoever is responsible for this place: bravo. We absolutely loved staying here, so many really nice thoughtful touches. Particularly enjoyed the complimentary massage.

A thoroughly relaxing stay in luxurious and beautiful surroundings. The attention to detail on every level was really impressive and butler service meant that no request was too much trouble. I very much enjoyed watching the sun set over the Campuhan Ridge from the privacy of our own swimming pool. Highly recommended

After a hectic work schedule, my partner and I decided to have a little getaway and chose a place that we would be pampered and taken care of. And The Ridge Bali delivered exactly that! When we arrived, the staff was very welcoming. We stayed in a stunning villa with a pool and were blown away by the quality and attention to detail of the property. Our personal butler Surya was attentive and able to accommodate everything for us during our stay. We took advantage of the complimentary spa treatment in our own villa upon arrival. Our most memorable time was simply chilling on our deck, sipping wines during sunset overlooking the most spectacular jungle view Ubud is famous for, ordered in-house dining and just chatting and hanging out through the night under the stars. If you’re looking for a quality, relaxing time surrounded by the luscious greenery of Ubud and the most hospitable staff, this is the right place for you. I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, our stay was short, so we didn’t have a chance to try out their activities and tours. Hopefully we can explore more on our next visit.

The views from the rooms are the best in Ubud and probably Bali !! The service was so personable and genuine. The rooms were particulary stylish and I didn't want to leave the property to be honest. Just the best all around service and amenities that one could wish for. Thankyou everyone for such a wonderful stay.

Piękny widok z restauracji i z tarasu. Wystrój w częściach wspólnych i w pokoju. Wybór śniadań. Przekąski do serwowanej w ciągu dnia herbaty. Serwis.

Bardzo ruchliwa droga wzdłuż obiektu bez chodnika. Nie ma możliwości pójścia na spacer w pobliżu. Mały wybór dań na kolację. Duża ilość mrówek na tarasie.

Schon vor Beginn der Reise hat uns das überaus freundliche Hotelpersonal kontaktiert und uns nach besonderen Wünschen oder Bedürfnissen gefragt. Während unseres Urlaubs war der Service herausragend und wir wurden stets mit „welcome Home“ begrüßt. Personal 11/10! Auch die Ausstattung des Hotels war sehr hoch- und neuwertig.

Une très belle parenthèse . Hôtel magnifique avec une prestation plus que 5 étoiles

To nowy fantastycznie położony obiekt, zawierający 5 apartamentów. Z każdego apartamentu jest zapierający widok na dżunglę oraz płynącą poniżej rzekę. Apartament w którym się zatrzymaliśmy to 145m2 bardzo przemyślanej przestrzeni. na uwagę zasługuje bardzo wygodne duże łóżko, pojemne szafy, część z lodówką i ekspresem do kawy, piękny taras z basenem, urządzony tak, że nawet w przypadku deszczu można spokojnie zjeść posiłek lub po prostu podelektować się widokiem leżąc na leżance lub w zewnętrznej wannie. Zadbano o każdy detal, zarówno funkcjonalny jak i ten cieszący oko. Po prostu miejsce zrobione z pasją i wysublimowanym smakiem. Obsługa obiektu na najwyższym poziomie, bez dopłaty otrzymaliśmy early check-in i late check-out. Natomiast to tylko początek, bo największą robotę zrobił przydzielony nam do obsługi (nie lubię tego słowa) lokaj. Podczas naszego pobytu mieliśmy do pomocy, bardzo wysokiej kultury młodego człowieka (pozdrowienia Edy jeśli to przeczytasz) który zarówno polecał nam lokalne przysmaki na śniadania, rekomendował restauracje, robił drobne zakupy jak również organizował dłuższe (pozdrowienia dla kierowcy Malen) lub krótsze wycieczki, podczas których był lokalnym przewodnikiem. W samym obiekcie jest restauracja z bardzo smacznym jedzeniem, dla urozmaicenia menu tuż obok jest świetna restauracja z barem Sayan House, dla wegan polecamy również blisko położoną i niedrogą restaurację Moksa Ubud, jak ktoś chce zaszaleć to ma również obok hotel Four Season. Podsumowując jeśli tylko wam finanse pozwalają, ani chwili się nie wahajcie i zatrzymajcie się w tym obiekcie, jego położenie, jakość i obsługa warte są każdego zostawionego tam dolara. Na każdym kroku czuć, że obiekt celuje w luksus i wychodzi mu to doskonale. I nie zapomnijcie o zamówieniu na miejscu balijskiego masażu, jest zniewalająco relaksujący.

Nigdzie podczas rezerwacji nie widziałem, że obiekt oferuje prywatny transport (nie tylko lotniskowy), prywatną obsługę z dedykowanym lokajem, masaże balijskie w hotelu i śniadania do łóżka lub do basenu. Mają to w cenie i się tym nie chwalą :-)
