Boulder Station Hotel & Casino

I used to stay at this casino when visiting from Oklahoma in the early 2000's, not long after it's opening. Things sure have changed since then, but the comfort of the rooms isn't one of them. The room was a nice size and had all the basics you'd expect. The bed was very comfortable and they still have FULL SIZED PILLOWS! Who knew that was even a thing anymore! I slept like a rock. The casino was clean although some of the clientele was a little less than clean if I'm being honest. I was afraid that I would be listening to a loud young family with babies all night based on the noise in the hallway upon my arrival but it was super quiet inside my room and I had no issues. I appreciated the extra security with a guard at the elevator and bike patrols in the parking lots. The breakfast at the restaurant on property, while not free, was DELICIOUS and reasonably priced.

The place smelled like cigarettes, which, duh, Vegas, but I think they could do a better job with the filtration or covering the odor with something else. There also was no art in the rooms, which I found a little strange as you could tell where the photos used to be, complete with the anchors still in the wall. Apart from these minor things, it was an enjoyable stay for the money and I will be back.

i booked two rooms with two queen beds each and when i checked in they only had one two queen beds and the other room had a king size bed, it was very disappointing.

Pricing, located far enough away but easily accessible to the strip.

Old facility, bathroom had some mold and the sink wouldn't drain. Room was ok. Entire facility was smoke filled and definitely detectable even on non-smoking floors of hotel.
