    A nicely located and quaint hotel, this is a great value-for-money option. Staff were very friendly and keen and the food was pretty good. The space within the hotel is quite tight and navigating the stairs is not for the faint-hearted.

    The hotel is a social enterprise to train Nepali hospitality students, therefore a lot of staff are doing their internship here. Unfortunately the hotel infrastructure is not really that good. It's an old house therefore the facilities are that modern. I stayed in a budget double room, the room is decent, ample space and enough storage area with a closet and a table to put luggage on. The bed and beddings are quite comfortable. The staff is extremely helpful and provided me with transport information and also helped me to call a taxi leaving the hotel. The downside is I stayed in the backpacker area and had a shared bathroom between 3 people, the cleanliness was subpar and the bathroom's setting made it impossible to keep it dry since there's no ventilation at all. There's only 3L of hot water everytime and it's quite unstable. The hotel was also attached to a temple and the wall/ door isn't soundproof. Therefore sleep was quite disturbed. It's around a 10 minutes walk around the Durbar square.
