Space in the apartment, cosey (although a bit overdecorated but that is a matter of taste), well-equipped, located in the center, free parking in town, possibility to unload car behind the gate.

Not a surprise but be aware that there is a significant supplementary charge for the cleaning, towels, bedding. In our case +27% of the price presented by booking. Would give a more realistic view if those were included by Booking. Believe cleaning shouldn't be listed as optional as DIY can influence the experience of the next guests if not done properly. In our case the apartment was fortunately very clean.

Appartement spacieux avec beaucoup d'équipements (Box, Wifi, Enceinte Bt, jeux de société ...). Depuis que je viens à Cauterets (+de 10ans) c'est le meilleur logement que j'ai eu à ce jour.

Des efforts sur le nettoyage et ce serai au top.

El apartamento nos ha parecido una monada, con una decoración con mucho gusto y muy acogedora. A pesar de ser pequeño hemos estado 7 personas muy bien. Está muy bien situado en pleno centro y muy cerca de la telecabina para ir a esquiar. Muy reconmendable.

A pesar de que nos ha encantado el apartamento no le damos el 10 porque no se especifica en la descripción del apartamento que no incluye toallas ni sábanas (hay que leer todo el detalle de servicios para darse cuenta). No pasa nada porque no se proporcionen pero sí que debería estar más explícito y no encontrarte con la sorpresa cuando te mandan el correo de confirmación, sobre todo porque los precios (20€/cama y 8€ toallas/persona) no son bajos si estamos hablando de una estancia de un fin de semana como era nuestro caso.

Central location, nice view from lounge windows and good shower

There was a lot not to like. The kitchen and lounge on the ground floor are largely fine, but the bedrooms are dreadful. Upstairs there is no bed - only a mattress on the floor, there is no outside window so it is hot and stuffy. There is an open staircase with no safety rail - it felt unsafe to use the downstairs bathroom at night. In the basement there is a “dormitory” for six people which resembles a dungeon complete with an inaccessible high barred window. It is dark, grim, musty and accessed by a dangerous steep 15 step staircase which has no handrail Sheet and towels were charged 42.50 euro which needs to be added to the cost. The sheets were of very poor quality and un-ironed, stuffed in an old bag. The pillowcases did not fit the odd pillows. The owners present a range of “extra” costs which include early check in, late check out, bed made up, etc, etc … all items which would normally be included in a Booking.com reservation. Some pretty basic items were absent - toilet paper (!), dishwasher tablets, welcome coffee capsular, soap, shampoo, etc, etc. The place is simply dirty. All the dishes needed washing before use and the settee felt grubby Great emphasis is placed on arriving at an agreed time (after 4pm) to be met and greeted by the “concierge”. We went to considerable trouble to be there at precisely 4pm - but no one showed and we used the key box for access. Our only contact with her was a message with a very long “protocol” for leaving which included emptying the vacuum cleaner, mopping the floors, polishing the bathroom mirrors, and cleaning the shower drains! All this on pain of losing part of the 500 euro deposit - which no one ever came to collect! In all a very unusual booking and probably the most unfriendly of any of well over 50 Booking.com stays in Europe
