Pacific Buddha

Luxurious king size beds, proximity to the beach, friendly cats

Despite the shared bathroom Pacific Buddha was one of the nicest places I have stayed in my travels

The decor and layout was lovely, one of the nicest places I have stayed in for this type of accommodation and price. There were only 4 rooms in total so there was not alot of people coming and going. The bed had a topper so was super comfortable although the pillows could have been softer. There was a rooftop area for morning practice and a well equipped shared kitchen with a comfortable lounging and eating area. I liked that my room also had its own water bottle stand and a mini fridge. There were two cute resident cats one of which befriended me!

While the location was great....very close to restaurants and the beach, the downside was that it was quite noisy at night although fortunately the music in the town stops at 11 so it was very quiet after that. I also missed when booking that it was a shared bathroom. My mistake but it would have been helpful if that had been more prominently displayed on the Booking site. There were two loos, 2 showers and 2 basins between 4 rooms so it wasn't too bad but the stay would have been perfect if I had had my own bathroom. As a female it would also have been good to have had a larger mirror, ideally full length and positioned near a power socket

Mas y minus

The location to the beach was fantastic! The owner was quick to fix the shower door and also the door to our unit. A bit of communication about how things work would've been nice, ie. The gas stove, the water jug in the fridge, the cat and feeding it or not, and general operation of things... But sometimes that casual vibe is nice, just would be good to know ahead of time maybe? For the price, I feel like there are better options, but it was a very peaceful and lovely place to come home to each night.

Best bed ever! We got the Ango room and the bed was amazing, huge, good sheets. Place is really well located at the punta, quiet house, good kitchen, bathroom.

Beautiful outdoor space, kitchen is well equipped. Mattress was comfy.

It’s quite noisy in the evening because there are a lot of live music venues around, so get music from every directions. However, that’s also what you’re in for when you stay in that area :)

Exceptional!

Everything: I traveled via ADO bus,took a cab from the station and it was a 10 min distance to the accommodation with a tariff no more than 100 Mxn (If you have a private vehicle it`s much easier to access with google maps). I was previously provided with the code for the main door via whatsapp and a similiar procedure for my room. I was very surprised on how well equipped it was since it had a full size bed (very comfortable by the way), AC, Water dispenser IN the room and a couple other amenities like desk ,etc. Despite some areas being shared such as bathroom,kitchen and terrace they were all very clean and well organized/distributed. I would say the main thing to point out is that the location allows you to literally walk everywhere; there is a small market right around the corner, very popular spots for breakfast, lunch and dinner (from various cultures) and you have the beach in a 5 min distance (depends on how fast you walk) . La Punta is very popular and I would definately reccomend Pacific Buddha (At the end of the day you will spend most of your time enjoying the surroundings but if you want to rest, cook,etc it is fully equipped)

Due to "La Punta" being so popular; during the night you can still hear some of the music/noise BUT nothing that can`t be solved with some ear plugs.
