Magnifique & élégant appartement

Very quick and easy to book and access. Landlord available easily when I smashed my phone which had entry codes on it! Lovely self contained pad, comfy and nicely presented. Excellent access to the train station which is what I needed for an early start the next day ~ just a few minutes walk. Very helpful to have some heating via the AC unit in the bedroom as chilly at night this time of year. Did a quick wash in the machine as I am travelling so that was useful, low spin but no handwashing in the sink! Security outside, felt safe. There was a balcony and pool which would be amazing in the warmer months. Overall, good stopover, fair price.

I plugged the water heater in for 20+ minutes but couldn't get any hot water for the shower. Maybe it needed longer, I went for hammam anyway. The shower floor was dirty with hairs and the metal on the shower hose was uncoiling. No wifi ~ I tried to access YouTube on the TV as I broke my phone but couldn't connect. Probably easy fix if i could have contacted owner but I smashed my phone. Would be helpful to have codes in the property as I tried all the info on the hub. Kitchen didn't feel that clean but I didn't need it really for one night, a bin would have been useful though. I was told to pay the security guard the city tax, he kept asking for euros, I asked for cost in dirhams, he got quite frustrated with me and it came across rude. Maybe language barrier but I didn't appreciate it. Also thought I'd paid via Booking as not had to pay extra anywhere else.
