This tranquil home enjoys a wonderful location near Echo Lake and the boundaries of Acadia (just over a mile), kayak rentals in the charming town of Southwest Harbor (four and a half miles), and the bustling restaurants and shops of Bar Harbor (11 miles). Other great attractions include Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf, Bar Harbor Whale Watch, Acadian Boat Tours, Wild Gardens Of Acadia, and Lamoine State Park.

Upon entering this well-appointed abode, discover a welcoming living area furnished with your comfort in mind. Spread out comfortably on the sofa and watch a fun show or movie, or challenge your friends to an entertaining game using the Playstation 3 console available. The full kitchen has all the major appliances and utensils needed to prepare delicious homemade meals and treats for the crew, including a dishwasher for easy post-meal clean ups. The home was built in 1900 and well-maintained and loved by its owners. However, as was common in that era, the interior stairs which lead to all bedrooms on the second floor are steep and can be a challenge to some age groups. If accessibility is a concern this may not be the home away from home you are looking for.

Outdoor you may enjoy the picnic table where you can enjoy meals alfresco and a firepit surrounded by comfy chairs, the perfect setting for storytelling after then sun has set.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
