About this house rental
A historic adobe built in 1938, it has lots of special southwest flavor. 7 minute walk to town and 30 min drive to the ski valley. Comfortable, quiet, private and surrounded by green pastureland, but so close to town. All the New Mexico touches- plaster walls, arched doorways, kiva fireplace and viga ceilings. Stays cozy warm in winter with radiant in floor heating and cool in summer because of the 15 inch adobe walls. Tons of character and artistic touches. Talavara tile in the kitchen and bathroom. Beautiful outdoor areas for relaxing or dining al fresco. Covered parking. Situated at the end of a private road on one verdant acre.

The house had wonderful personal touches and a fully equipped kitchen since the owners do live there. It’s tucked away at the end of the drive and next to an ashram. So quiet and private. I’d definitely stay again if available. The property manager is terrific - very quick to respond and so thoughtful and considerate. This greatly improved our stay.

We loved staying here. It was close enough to walk to town but felt so secluded in beautiful nature. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our two day stay here. Communication with the owner was good. Check in was seamless. And the place was clean and spacious (though the second bedroom is fairly small). We didn't use the kitchen but it seemed well appointed. The location is fine, an easy 10 minute or so walk to the central plaza. We left a coat upon departure and the manager was extremely helpful and cooperative in sending it to us.
