Private Courtyard In Town With Mountain Views

The casa was extremely well appointed and met our needs fully. The hosts were very considerate; they were accessible but discrete and the property was supplied with everything we could possibly want. It is in a quiet neighbourhood in easy reach of shops and the town. The garden area was particularly lovely.

This property was very nice. The location was convenient to shopping , ski rentals, restaurants, and car wash. The property owners were very hospitable. The casita was warm and cozy . The carport is easily accessible from side door for unpacking and packing. We had a very enjoyable ski vacation at Taos Ski Valley a thirty minute drive from property location.

A very nice, two-bedroom casita with a beautifully-fenced front patio. Very convenient to downtown Taos, even though we were there during Covid and didn't do much other than hang out at the house.

The very welcoming owners greeted us upon our arrival to their perfect home away from home in the gorgeous Taos area. The extremely clean home had everything we needed for our week long stay. The home is perfect for a family of 4 with 2 very comfy queen beds, cozy bedding and even gorgeous views from each room. I will forever miss the courtyard area where I spent every morning enjoying my coffee or breakfast and the magical sunsets sipping the perfect cocktail. We were in town for hockey tournament, with the home being less than a 2-minute drive to rink - this was a huge plus. Had we not had the hockey tournament bring us to Taos, I would still choose to stay at this lovely home for any return visit. It is in a very quiet, safe neighborhood away from the traffic of the plaza area. I was able to take walks in the neighborhood, with the beautiful mountains in every direction I looked. Had the fortune of seeing a hot air balloon on one of my morning walks, breathtaking... The home was very warm with radiant heating. We had some cold nights and never felt cold in the home. Very cozy and warm. We loved opening up the window blinds and being able to see the clear views of the surrounding area homes and mountains in the near distance from all rooms of the home. The kitchen was well stocked for meal preparation (I cook many meals while on vacation, so this was very much appreciated). The home was very close to many stores for groceries (Albertson's, Smith's, Walgreen’s, Wal-Mart). A bit of a further drive (10 minutes or so) will put you to a couple of the wonderful natural grocers on the north end of Taos (Cids and Taos Market, which we loved!) The plaza/shopping all within a 5-10 min drive. The home is perfectly situated for taking many day trips, which we thoroughly enjoyed while we were there: *Driving the Enchanted Circle (Taos to Questa, then Red River, over to Eagle's Nest Lake and down to Angel Fire and back to Taos). This was around a 6-hour trip with the stops we made. Headed out around noon and made it back to the home just in time for sunset. Very scenic drive going in and around the mountain ranges. *Ojo Caliente Mineral Spa - around an hour drive from the home. $20 for a day pass to spa and you will love it, so relaxing. *Hike down the side of the Rio Grande Gorge to Manby Hotsprings (also called Black Rock) - 30-minute drive from the home.
