The barbecue grill is a small hibachi, charcoal grill, and with a broken leg was unusable, there was no iron or ironing board but overall the house was very clean, and the view of the river was very relaxing

Nice clean home, comfortable bedrooms, accommodating bathrooms and good working kitchen. Highlight is back deck leading to Chester River. You can use the kayaks at the property and fishing is very good! Overall pleasant experience and would definitely stay there again.

The dock is the highlight of this property with an additional floating dock that moves with the substantial (2') tide. Imperative to time your paddling with tide or you will get stranded 30' from dock at low tide! This was nature immersion therapy, so peaceful sitting on the dock with coffee and my concertina at 6 a.m., listening to the many birds, watching the ospreys, buzzards and eagles. CONCERNS:the boat shed was padlocked but the very responsive owner had it opened with a bolt cutter. the television was fritzing out and he came to correct it. There was no can opener in kitchen but Food Lion is about 1/2 mile away. Although the house is beautifully laid out and appointed, the biggest inconvenience was no dressers in bedrooms, so we lived out of our suitcases all week.
