Our beautifully renovated older home offers a perfect blend of character and modern comforts, designed to make your stay as relaxing as possible.
Located just a short walk from Beechworth’s Main Street, renowned restaurants, and historic heritage buildings, you’ll be at the center of all this picturesque town has to offer. Explore local wineries, stroll through scenic hiking trails, or take in a bit of history at nearby heritage sites.
Every first Saturday of the month, enjoy a leisurely three-minute stroll to the local farmers market for fresh, seasonal produce.
And don’t miss out on the breathtaking sunsets! We recommend setting up at the end of the carport or enjoying a relaxed evening at the downstairs table to soak in the view.

This property is in a wonderful location with an easy stroll into town. My husband and I stayed with some friends for the long weekend and we enjoyed the winery walkabout plus a beautiful lunch on Sunday at a local restaurant.
It's a beautiful place to watch the sunset and has enough glasses and kitchenware for 4 people. The bathroom setup is a bit strange and we only really used the downstairs shower as there is no shower screen on the ensuite and makes for a very wet floor.
We appreciated the fire for a cold winter stay and made great use of this. The owners were super responsive and we were able to check-in earlier which is always a nice touch. Given the price we paid I think a few more thoughtful touches could have been left - even just fresh milk.

A really lovely house and location to stay but feel need to comment that absence of basis kitchen utensils and pantry items was very noticeable and impacted significantly on experience of property.
Would have been an overall 5 except for constant reminder when preparing every meal of how limited and frugal kitchen equipment and basic supplies were. For example:
- two small knives for food preparation were blunt and very limited in use (unable to cut locally bought bread loaves)
- no rotating can opener - we had to pry can of tuna for meal with can opener you'd see if stranded on island in 1800s - had to pull tuna through heavily serrated opening
- no sugar, pepper or salt (needed to buy)
- approx 4 tbs of olive oil in bottle next to stove (left almost full bottle for next guests)
- just enough dish washing liquid to get us through days staying (didn't refill for next guests!)
- cutlery very limited (approx 4 knives and 4 forks) - so had to wash after every meal
- no potato masher
