Centrally located and beautifully renovated period cottage dating back to circa 1856. A perfect mix of historic charm and modern convenience!
You'll have full access to this private self-contained cottage and ornate English style garden. The fully equipped modern kitchen features electric induction cooktop, dishwasher, stylish timber island bench and convenient front load washing machine. Nespresso machine and coffee and tea supplies are provided for guests.
The updated bathroom includes toiletries for your convenience and a hair dryer. All linen is provided.

Two sisters on a road trip to Melbourne decided to break the journey in Beechworth and stay at Gladstone House. What a find! Location excellent - just a short stroll into town. The house is very old and because of this, there are a few areas where there are steps into rooms, but it was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully provisioned. The gardens are lovely and just the spot to enjoy a quiet cuppa with the birdlife. The kitchen has everything you will need, and the renovated bathroom has a large walk-in shower. The hosts were super-responsive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This property is a delight. It’s as described…only better. The cottage is comfortable, quiet, and beautifully appointed. It’s been thoughtfully equipped and the beds and supplied linens are quality. Both front and back verandas have serene garden outlooks and are perfect for sitting with a quiet glass of wine or book. The town centre with great cafes and shops is a short walk away. The hosts are helpful and communicate well. We can’t wait to return.
