Casa de Olivia is a lovely, clean and peaceful place Lungile and Mbali are amazing people, the communication, service and atmosphere was top tier. They kept checking up on me which felt good 😊, the place is safe and quite easy access to restaurants and mall, I had a good quite time, I will definitely book again in future.

Nothing to not like.

The unit was very clean and neat. Bed was comfortable and a lovely gas heater for the chilly winter temperatures. The host was lovely. The location was excellent for where I was working.

There were a few practical challenges, especially as I stayed for 3 nights on a working trip. The desk was very small and did not have good light or a plug for me to plug in a laptop. In fact the only plug for charging anything was next to the bed and very difficult to reach due to the small space between bed and wall. Bedroom layout was a challenge as only one tiny bedside table on one side - same side as the plug. So not really anywhere to put anything (could be a me thing) The kitchen had what was needed but it would not be easy to prepare any meals due to very limited counter space eg cut up salad stuff or veggies. Or anywhere to store groceries - cereal, snacks etc. Fine for heat and eat prepared meals. Bar fridge. Then one final cosmetic thing - the property has such a lovely garden and the weather was sunny so it was a pity the windows were small and high up on one side only. So no real “view” or natural light. I hope this review helps travellers like me.
