The Courtfield by Nestor

Location was very good. Communications excellent. Bed was comfortable. I arrived on 13th August, the hottest day on record at 38°C. The tower fan worked well and there were drapes to block the sun but still really hot inside Apt #9.

Wifi wouldn't connect at first but after contacting Nestor that was sorted quickly. The tv needed to be connected separately which was a painfully slow process. Reported that maybe remote batteries need replacing. Tiny bathroom.

Location was excellent and very close to the subway as well as restaurants and supermarket.

I wish they had air conditioning as the last few days there were rather hot and the tower fan was inadequate. I understand that the building regulations in the district may be quite restrictive and this may not be possible.

It was unusually warm in London and therefore rooms were little warmer than expected

Great location, close to Gloucester Rd Tube, Sainsburys just down the road. Lots of Restaurants and a couple of decent pubs. Good bed, good water pressure, washing machine, Iron & Ironing board. Very quiet location.

I know you can’t control the weather but this place was absolutely roasting. No fan provided and had to ask to get a small one which they did sort out. The next morning, after sleeping with all windows & curtains open and fan blowing we discovered that the heating had been left on. This shows a lack of attention to detail. Given the price per night they didn’t even offer normal tea or coffee, no box of tissues, no cold water in fridge…absolutely the barest minimum of hand-wash & shampoo/body-wash (no conditioner). No net curtains to offer a bit of privacy during daylight hours. No broom or dustpan.
