Apartment One at The Courtyard, Number 11

A lovely little apartment perfectly located in Audlem. We only wanted a one-night stay in Audlem as we already had a cottage booked in Chirk on the Saturday. This Apartment was perfect, literally everything that you would need for a week’s stay was there. A short walk takes you to the Audlem Wharf and the “Shroppie Fly” which is the perfect place to eat and drink and soak in the Canal location and atmosphere. There are other Inns but the Shroppie Fly is my favourite. There is also a handy Co-op and even an excellent Butchers which also sells cakes and a couple of takeaways so everything is catered for

Car Parking, there is a handy Car Park literally opposite the apartment and short term street parking immediately outside. The street parking is limited to one hour but you can use the main car park opposite which is free after 3pm but charges from 8am to 3pm but this can all be managed through the Ringo App. Would have been nice to have free parking but there is plenty of safe Parking available and the charges are low so its not really a problem.

Great facility for any visitor. Very comfortable.

Clean, comfortable, perfect location. Couldn’t fault it. Easy to find. Local area catered for all our needs. Lovely places to walk nearby.

Nothing we didn’t like

Very central in the village. Very clean and modern.

No WiFi (as advertised), no hot water, TV didn’t work, no microwave and the heating wasn’t great.
