Hello, We have booked stay at DSS homestay on 08-AUG-2026, by seeing old reviews, we were amazed by their services, the owner of the property mr. Dinakaran is very polite and kind and managed and guided our arunachalam enire trip. Their hospitality is next level. Very good and clean rooms. He arrange local auto facility for us to avoid confusion with language and bargainings and arranged trusted drivers. When we visited on the same day Amit Shaw visited arunachalam temple. So mr Dinakaran planned our trip by using his contacts and we had a hassle-free darshan enen though our home minister visit. Please simply go along with his plan and advise in arunachalam for hassle-free stay. We really felt that we have stayed at our relatives house. I strongly recommend DSS home stay for Tiruvannamalai / arunachalam trip.

I'm a person always looking for experience than a simple stay... This is all about what truely felt..... This review is about so much more than just a place to stay—it’s about the unforgettable experience I had at Dinakaran’s home. From the moment I booked, Dinakaran kept in touch to ensure I arrived safely, even offering to pick me up from the bus station to protect me from local transport scams. I was genuinely moved that someone would go to such lengths for a guest. True to his word, he was right there on his motorbike when I arrived. Upon reaching the house, his wife welcomed me with a warm cup of tea and genuine, heartfelt Indian hospitality. Her warmth made me feel instantly at home. Dinakaran thoughtfully asked about my goals for Tiruvannamalai and mapped out a detailed, methodical itinerary for visiting the temple and completing the Girivalam. He suggested starting the Girivalam at 1:00 AM, drove me to the temple, and picked me up the next morning. Later that day, he personally drove me to the Sri Ramana Maharshi Ashram. He handled every drop-off and pick-up with a bright, welcoming smile. As for the room, it was absolute perfection: Comfort & Climate: Powerful A/C, beautiful firm beds, and plenty of cozy pillows. Thoughtful Touches: Artistically folded towels, full dental care kits, and immaculate cleanliness. Hotel-Grade Hygiene: The bathroom had a protective seal stating it had been sanitized—a high-end touch you usually only see in luxury hotels. I ended up extending my stay and would have stayed even longer if my schedule allowed. Before this trip, Dinakaran and his wife were complete strangers to me. Now, I feel like I’ve reconnected with a long-lost brother and sister-in-law. I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience.

One of the best home stays I’ve ever stayed in. The owner and his wife are so kind, always happy to help out with anything at all, be it transport, food, and information about the town. Situated away from the hustle and bustle in a colourful neighbourhood, it’s the perfect place to stay in Tiruvannamalai!
