Cheerful, cheap and comfortable

There's a few classic bungalows and the location is fantastic. The staff were super friendly and the on-site bar was great, good drinks and comfortable seating. There is a small craft market there every weekend, with live music in the bar.

The room would have benefitted from some basic catering facilities, like a kettle and mugs.

Wonderful stay

The owner is extremly nice and helpful. There are 3+ dogs running around that love some cuddles and they will protect you from any wandering stray dogs. Also a cat that wanted some attention. The location was nice, as the beach is not far - just a short walk. The Bungalow was simple and clean and you get exactly what is promised on Booking. We stayed for 10 nights and had no trouble surviving without an AC, the fan was enough for us. Backpackers will profit more of this accommodation, as there is a bar right next to the Bungalows. We are not party people, and we could hear the music, but we could sleep nevertheless. Bring ear plugs if you are sensible. Also, don't leave your shoes outside, you will find a frog sleeping in them in the morning :)

Bungalow in a hippie bar - the guys are great., super nice and chill.

It’s located between two bays on the northern most, quiet part of Ko lanta. If you want a private room, especially for couples, it’s good value. They had a market right outside our room one day with food, clothes, and chill vibes 😀

There’s no AC, it’s a little buggy (but there’s mosquito nets), and hard to walk places. You should rent a moped.

Island paradise getaway to nature!

I loved the people and the vibe! If you want something off the beaten track and surrounded by nature, this is for you. You can wake up to the birds and see lizards in the bathroom! It's a very special place, quiet, beautiful, and a quick walk to the beach. You can get a tuktuk to anywhere in Sala Dan for about 100 bhat. The DnB party on a Friday night is awesome fun and it's super handy to be able to roll into bed when it finishes. Don and Aew are both awesome humans and will ensure you have a good stay or a fun time at the bar if you're visiting for a drink - I recommend the Mango Daiquiris!

Living in a hut isn't for everyone, when I was there it rained a fair bit (cue mossies) and when it cleared up and the sun came out everyone was visibly relieved - no one wants a flood! That shouldn't be the case in the high seasons, but even if it is, everyone pulls together. If you need something here, you only have to ask.

Lovely stay in an unspoilt location.

The individual bungalows are like a childhood dream of living close to nature. They are raised from the ground on wooden stilts, up two steps takes you onto the a porch, where you can sit, dry clothes, listen to the sounds of the night, stroke the cat. The roomy beds came with mosquito nets tied overhead and the bathroom was more of a wet room, a perfect place to cool off under the shower. Over all the area is, as yet, unspoilt by built up tourism, there are only three bungalows and the place is surrounded by natural land and tall trees. The bird call is magical and the visits from the cat most welcome. The view to the front of the area, the entrance, is across the sea and the Bungalows has a bar here so never far to go if you are thirsty.

The whole team make you feel welcome and at home. Nothing was too much for the staff. The bungalow was super cute and had lovely decor too. Looking forward to our next stay!

Rummet var väldigt spartanskt och dåligt underhållet. Det fanns ingen ordentlig ac och endast kallvatten. Sängen var som en planka.

Die entspannte Atmosphäre war super, das Personal sehr nett, es war sehr ruhig und liebevoll. Uns wurde auf Nachfrage hin morgens frisches Frühstück gemacht, was super war und wir haben alle nötigen Infos bekommen die uns unseren Aufenthalt versüßt haben.

Ab und zu war niemand anzutreffen, leider muss man einige Meter zum Strand gehen in dem man baden kann, was aber halb so wild war. Für den Preis absolut in Ordnung wenn man mit was einfachem zurecht kommt.

Era una capanna con prezzo alto rispetto ai canoni abituali. Chi fa recensioni dovrebbe avere rispetto di chi poi le legge. Meno male che c’era la zanzariera (bucata). Non avevamo neanche il lenzuolo ci è stata data una coperta in pile!

Les toilettes n’étaient pas propres Le ventilo n’était pas très puissant et pas accroché au mur, les fenêtres ne se ferment pas Heureusement il y a des moustiquaires pour la nuit :) Mais très bon rapport qualité prix 👌🏻 je recommande pour ceux qui sont comme nous en sac à dos
