Stay close to home and enjoy easy access to the golf course, ski slope views, and a furnished patio. In warm weather, walk to the popular Bayview Trail, the Sleeping Bear Dunes Heritage Trail, and the Homestead golf course's first tee. In the winter, this course transforms into groomed, cross-country trails, so don't forget your skis! This property is also conveniently close to several other attractions including the community's beach access, complimentary tennis and pickleball courts, the Village at the Homestead for shopping and dining, the Sleeping Bear Point Coast Guard Station Maritime Museum, and the Robert H. Manning Memorial Lighthouse, all within a few miles of your door.
Back home, whip up your favorite recipes in the well-equipped, full kitchen, meet up for meals at the enormous table - perfect for rainy day board games - and then watch TV in the main living area with its plush sectional, soaring ceiling, and skylights. A furnished, all-season sunroom offers an additional space for relaxing, reading, or socializing while the furnished patio stands ready for alfresco dining.
A shared washer/dryer lets you pack light for your trip and keep your laundry under control during your stay.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). This property was between good and great. One of the showers did not work and the key was not in the place it was supposed to be. There is no AC but the fans keep it pretty cool and there is a lot of tree shade around the house. One ceiling fan didn’t have a working switch. Property owners are updating and renovating the lodging. Everything they have done so far is great. Property is definitely kept clean. No doubt that second shower will soon be repaired or replaced. The owners had contractors working on things before our stay and afterwards. The master shower was brand new with a sign not to use until the afternoon we arrived due to wet caulk. If the second shower had been working, the key was in the lock box where it was supposed to be, and the balcony labeled unsafe don’t use was safe to use I would probably rate 5 stars. As is the property is objectively a 4-4.5. I get the sense the owners are motivated to make it a 5. Bottom line I would stay again if looking to be in the area again.

To do up in the Glen Arbor/Sleeping Bear area with good restaurants and bars/wineries all over! Just know that most are open only on weekends now so plan accordingly. One of our favorite places to spend enjoying the fall colors!
