About this cabin rental
Welcome to the stunning Dorado Elk Ranch Vacation Home! We are tucked in right under the 11,400-foot peak of Mount Lamborn, which dominates the views in the North Fork Valley. We offer over 400 acres of beautiful mountain land for excellent hunting, hiking, and exploring! Our beautiful, cozy, yet spacious cabin has breath taking views from our wrap around porch! Enjoy a cup of coffee while listening to the creek flow beside the house as you watch the turkeys, trophy mule deer, or elk roam the property! The main living area is an open living room with cathedral ceilings, and two downstairs bedrooms and a full bath. The upstairs loft area features the master bedroom, 5-piece bath, and roomy walk-in closets. We come equipped with a washer & dryer unit in the home. Our kitchen comes with all the appliances and cookware you need! And for convenience, we are only 10 minutes from town! Come see for yourself, and soak in this beautiful cabin, explore our private land and enjoy our breath taking views!

The house is perfectly situated outside of small town. Easy to feel private but still only a 5 min drive to town for supplies. House is clean, well stocked with kitchen needs, etc.

This cabin is awesome. Very clean and spacious with awesome views all around the property. I appreciated having a private two car garage as well. Can’t say enough good things about this place…if you get a chance to book it just do it…one of the best places our family has stayed.

This is a gorgeous home in a beautiful wild setting. The home was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the wrap around porch with rockers when it cooled down in the evening. The views from the porch are gorgeous in all directions and we heard a lot of coyotes singing. It's a 10 minute drive to Paonia where there are stores, restaurants, and Don's Grocery. We went to Crawford Resevoir State Park which is 25 minutes away and was great for kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming. Communication with the property manager was perfect. I would definitely rent this home again and can confidently recommend it to others.

We loved this home. It is beautifully crafted and was everything we needed for some time away from the city. The wrap around porch was our favorite part and we spent most our time. The creek that runs through the property is calming and was much enjoyed when we went for family walks. The house doesn’t have central AC so it did get hot in the afternoon during the summer but there are two portable window units that cooled rooms efficiently. The large windows in the living room were another favorite feature and we enjoyed reading while looking out them. Both my dog and 2 year old loved running around outside during the mornings and early evenings.
