About this house rental
This beautiful 2020 built lakeside cottage sits on a gorgeous south facing property just steps from the Village of Shawnigan Lake on Vancouver Island. A terrific floor plan with open kitchen, dining and living areas plus 3 spacious bedrooms upstairs. Enjoy spectacular water views from all primary rooms and a cozy gas fireplace in the living area. Outdoor patio furniture with gas firepit & BBQ. Shawnigan Lake is situated 43 kms north of Victoria, 20 kms south of Duncan and only a couple of minutes away from Shawnigan Lake School and Brentwood College. The area offers plenty of things to do including hiking at the Kinsol Trestle, excellent lake fishing, and only a 10 minute walk to Oma's Bakery and coffee shop. This is truly a fantastic property for those wanting to relax and enjoy in a quiet setting. SORRY NO RENTALS AVAILABLE BETWEEN MAY 1ST AND SEPTEMBER 30TH AS OUR FAMILY OCCUPIES THE PROPERTY FOR THE SUMMER MONTHS.

We had a great time staying here. It was very peaceful. We enjoyed the nature, wildlife (deer, eagles, owls, herons and waterfowl) and beautiful sunsets. The host was very responsive to our questions. We look forward to our next visit to Shawnigan Lake.
