About this house rental
This peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing stay for the whole family.
Our house is a little corner of paradise located in the heart of the Cantal in the small town of Vic-sur-Cère. It is a very old typical Auvergne house renovated and modernized. We have an enclosed garden of 600m2 and a fenced plot in front of the house.
The house has 4 bedrooms. Three of them have a double bed each (160x200, 160x200 and 140x200) and 1 bedroom for children/teenagers with a 3-seater bunk bed (2-seater bottom bed and 1-seater top bed)
The 140 m2 house consists of two parts. The first has the main entrance which is through the laundry room. Upstairs you will find a bedroom with a double bed isolated from the rest of the house (ideal for a couple without children or a teenager).
Arriving in the second part of the house you will enter the living room, followed by the kitchen, a pantry and a toilet. Upstairs there is a bathroom with toilet, 2 bedrooms with double bed, then a bedroom with a bunk bed for 3 people with board games and toys for the little ones.
A travel cot is located upstairs.
The largest bedroom offers direct access to the garden and its terrace.
In addition to the 4 bedrooms, you have a BZ upstairs, a mattress on the floor in the children's room as well as the sofa in the living room which serve as extra beds if needed. Our accommodation can therefore accommodate up to 13 people. Nevertheless, considering that the house only has one bathroom, for the comfort of all, it is preferable to come there with a maximum of 9.
You have a bathroom with toilet upstairs and a toilet on the first floor next to the kitchen.
Our house is located on the heights of Vic-sur-Cère in the middle of the mountains in the valley of the Cère.
Located in a quiet area, in summer you can take a nap in the hammock hanging while contemplating the landscape. Easily accessible by car (chains are to be expected in case of heavy snow in winter). On foot we are barely 10 minutes from the city center with all the necessary amenities and 5 minutes from the train station. Vic-sur-Cère is a small town that has many services: doctors, dentist, banks, supermarket, outdoor swimming pool, children's park. In winter we are 15/20 minutes from the ski resort "Le Lioran". In summer, it is the ideal place if you like to hike or contemplate the stars at nightfall.
The swimming pool of Vic-sur-Cère, 10 minutes walk away, has a large pool, a smaller one, a wading pool and a slide. You have in the city center, still a 10 min walk, a playground, a mini golf, inflatable structures and a Rosalie rental to walk along the Cère.
A 5-minute walk away you have the campsite La Pommeraie where you can go for a drink, eat local specialties and watch the magic shows of its owner.
Note: possibility to provide you with bed linen and towels at an additional cost.
