Our check in was a little bumpy but the host apologized and responded right away so we could get in. Inside was exactly as pictured, super clean and comfortable. We were a bit disappointed with the location being in a rather sketchy area with a couple people approaching us in the evening looking for money as we walked to our door. But the door/apartment security once inside excellent. Bed comfortable and slept well, a thoughtful sound machine helped with night traffic. Shower was large and had all the amenities. Kitchen super as we were there for several days. Enjoyed the little balcony during the day! Some trouble with the toilet flushing properly and had to text host which she responded right away and sent someone to fix it. Overall a pleasant stay and host very responsive. Parking convenient.

Such a great place, close to the Arts District and the college. So many beautiful murals on the buildings nearby, great restaurants & unique shops. Gave me strong NY Brooklyn vibes, and the home as well-especially the entry and walk up the stairs (a bit steep so take them slow). It’s a fabulous mix of old & new. Beautifully designed and felt so cozy. Bed was super comfortable, shower was spacious. Everything you could need was provided. Was excited about the electric kettle because I’m a tea drinker but there’s a coffee maker as well. A white noise machine is thoughtfully provided to block out all the “city sounds”. Really appreciated having the parking space right next to the front door, easy entry. It would be a really narrow space for a large vehicle but my midsize Volvo V60 fit just fine. I noticed that people would park across the street so that’s possibly an option for larger vehicles like trucks/SUVs. Host provided great support and detailed instructions. Overall, I was really pleased!

Great place, great location. Parking spot was super convenient. I got a little confused about which door to go to due to discrepancy b/t address and door number, but referencing the parking photos in our messages cleared things up. The one issue was a really strong rubbing alcohol smell when I entered the apartment. I had to open the windows to air it out and it still lingered. Also, couldn't figure out how to work the kitchen overhead fan. The bedroom window's latch is not secure, which I'm sure you're aware of, but it's workable. Other than that, great place!
