Casa Gallo, Heated Pool, Exclusive Beach & Great Location

This was a cute, newer villa in the very nice Pedregal neighborhood. We felt extremely safe and the security guards at the gate were friendly and never gave us any trouble. The home is located just inside the main gate and is a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants, the marina, and the nearest beach. We didn’t have a car and it worked out great. We ordered Ubers on a few occasions and they always showed up in less than 5 minutes. The space was comfortable for my family of 5. 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (showers only) upstairs. All 3 bedrooms had tv’s and walkout balconies. Downstairs, the kitchen had everything we needed including filtered water, coffee/espresso machines, clean bbq grill on the back patio. We made many meals at the house. There was even a toaster, it was just hiding in a cabinet (saw a review that said there wasn’t one).

The only real issue we had (which was resolved) was that the private pool in the backyard was in rough shape upon arrival. We checked in around 4pm and the kids were ready to swim but the pool water was green. The pool steps, floor, and walls covered in algae. There weren’t any chemicals in the floating container. The pool looked like it hadn’t been used (hope not) or cleaned in a while. I reached out to Brenda and she sent a crew out to clean it the next morning. They did a great job cleaning it up and making it usable for us and we used it a bunch. It was a hot weekend! Other than that. the mattress in the master was a little firm for our liking.

Property was beautiful. Clean and very spacious. The views was amazing!

It was a bit too far to walk to the private beach.
