Coombe Cottage

There was parking up the road about one minute's walk from the property. We never had a problem parking. One of the best bakeries in Cornwall is less than 10 minutes walk away. St. Agnes still has a local feel to it, it isn't dominated by tourists (us!). The Cove and beach is a 20 minute walk and we caught the bus to the Miners Arms in Mithian. We used the cottage as a base from which to explore the surrounding area from Padstow downwards. Then we'd come back and walk out to dinner - at the Driftwood Spars, The Peterville Inn or The Miners. We didn't get into The Tap House or the seafood restaurant in the village - you need to book for those. The cottage itself was great. We were able to sit at the little table in the back garden for breakfast on most days. On others we used the little dining room. Bring your ground coffee. We used the espresso coffee machine every day! The bed was comfy and the shower was good. The location was quiet, certainly in the evenings. Every room is a little small, but it was fine for us.

Nothing to change.

The location was ideal, right near the centre of the village. Parking was on the road just a short distance away. The cottage is small and very nicely decorated. Everything was excellent. There are some lovely touches, such as a coffee machine and kitchen herbs to use.

The only possible downside was the lack of electric kettle. The one on the hob worked fine but took an age to boil.
