Views of the pyramids are very good, as per the photos. The host is very welcoming and was on the street to greet me and walked me out when leaving. Air conditioning is good, as was shower, plenty of hot water. Egyptian breakfast was very good, different each morning. I had no issues with Internet. It is a safe area to be, with locals.

I personally think there are little things that would make this place even better, but in time will be done, they didn't have any impact on my stay. Only thing was No fridge in room, but I got around this ok. Yes on arrival you think where am I staying, neighbourhood looks a bit backwards, but I didn't book a 5 star resort, I wanted to be within the locals, close to the pyramids and feel the real egypt and that is exactly what you get here. All were very friendly a inviting

Sultan, proprietario dell'albergo che parla bene l'italiano, è stato molto accogliente e disponibile. La colazione tipica veniva preparata al momento, quindi ottima. La posizione eccezionale, con le due camere e la terrazza vista piramidi da cui ci siamo goduti il tramonto e dove consumavamo colazione e cena. Le camere erano pulite e i servizi adeguati al prezzo pagato.

Il quartiere non offre attrazioni e, come noto, risulta essere poco curato e al limite del degrado. Nonostante ciò, non abbiamo avuto nessun problema a girare in autonomia.

It’s a family business, and I have to be honest here. I feel like the previous reviews are not genuine and they give a false expectation to new visitors. Even the owner asked us to give “good review”, but we can’t just give that. It doesn’t serve neither the owner, nor the visitors. The visitors need to know what to expect. Our family is disappointed. We could smell from the toilet. Things are old and no maintenance. You can sleep for a fair price, but that’s all. We didn’t eat anything special from the breakfast. It’s made by their family in the same building. We felt like we were visiting a traditional Egyptian family. We hope people are honest in providing genuine reviews. We didn’t use the bathroom. But the owner is a nice guy, but he has taken our pictures and put it on his website without our permission. I hope he removes them.
