"Everything was perfect. I don't understand why the rating is so low. The room had everything, from a hairdryer and kettle to a bread maker. We were contacted immediately and our questions were answere..."

Room was clean, tidy, comfy and cosy. Close to train station for ease of transport
Was given wrong room and key to someone else's room. And the confusion of getting a room after long travel. But it got sorted 1 Small thing would be a towel hook or rail for the bathroom would be nice.

The location was excellent. The room was a perfect, compact space featuring a clean kitchenette, a very comfortable bed, and a great shower. The large TV was also a nice touch.
The room was generally quiet and I wasn't disturbed by other residents; however, the stay coincided with some unavoidable roadworks on Woolwich Road. In terms of amenities, the bathroom would benefit from a towel rail and a toilet roll holder, as there was nowhere to hang or place these items.

Excellent location and had everything you need on my stay.
Customer support very slow to response for simple questions.

The bed was incredibly comfy and the studio was both attractive and clean. Plenty of plug sockets. A set of shower toiletries were provided and two sets of towels.  The kitchen had plenty of crockery and utensils, a kettle, toaster, fridge, hob and microwave oven. There was an iron and hairdryer. There was a smart TV where you could sign in to streaming apps. There was a heater/AC tower.  Very close to Charlton station for Southeastern and Thameslink lines to get into central. London bridge is 15 minutes away. For St. Pancras and Liverpool Street it takes 45-60 minutes. There's a retail park with supermarkets within walking distance.  There was some noise from traffic and pedestrians outside, but internally it was very quiet. It is a self check-in. Despite receiving a message saying check-in was only until 7pm you can check-in later. There are floor plans on each floor, so check them to find the room. There was a lift. The room number was given above the address in the welcome message (though that wasn't intuitive). The lockbox and key card do not correspond to the room number.  There was paid laundry in the basement. (£3.80 wash, £2.80 dryer) The building manager was friendly and helpful.
The instructions for the wifi said to "follow the registration steps" but it required a password that was not provided. The building manager gave me this when I spoke to him. Instructions for the microwave oven would have also been helpful. No desk - there was a small, wonky table with a raised rim so that it couldn't be used with laptops or even with food plates. (It can be turned upside down so it's a flat surface and I wedged some cardboard in there.) I specifically booked the room because it listed a desk and showed good size desks in the photos, so when I arrived I asked if I could be swapped. I received a prompt response despite being out of hours, saying they would look into it but couldn't guarantee one. When I went to talk to the front desk on the day I needed the swap, there was no one there. After 30 minutes the building manager came, told me there are no desks but I could use the tables in the social space. If you do need a desk the one in the social space is adequate, but not wise for private working; it's also very cold in there.  Lack of towel rails. Lack of accessible-height cupboard space. Lack of surfaces in general (cooking, ironing,  putting things down). Leaky tap. There are reviews as far back as 2023, so this is not a new property, but it felt like it was unfinished.  The soft lighting was genuinely lovely, but difficult when putting on makeup.  I would be cautious of taking a room if you're under 160cm or so, as the kitchen counter was tall, the available cupboard space was at a height of around 150cm and the pull for the blind required me standing on the bed and reaching (I'm 172cm).  If you have two suitcases it will be a bit of a squeeze. I would consider staying again for a night or two if I needed to be in the area, but not for longer due to these impracticalities.
