About this house rental
Less than a mile to the historic downtown mall. North Downtown expansive English Cottage boasting over 3,200 renovated square feet on almost half an acre. Hardwood & stone floors throughout. 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, featuring steam showers, radiant floor heating & lovely tile work.
The space:
Terrace level: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen with stacked laundry unit, desk space, and living room/dining room. The kitchen is fully stocked to cook and serve meals. The living room has a queen pullout sofa.
Main level: 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 bed/1 bath is a master suite), laundry room, open-plan kitchen, living room, dining room & sunroom. The Main Level kitchen offers a gas range, double ovens, a dishwasher, 2 sinks, and granite counters and comes fully stocked to cook and serve meals. Queen pullout sofa in the living room.
Upstairs level: Master suite - 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom. The nook has 2 twin beds and a gas fireplace.
Each bedroom has a 50” Smart TV mounted on the wall, giving the room a true boutique hotel feel. Both living rooms (Main and Terrace Level) have 55” Smart TVs mounted on the walls.
Fresh linens, towels, hairdryers, and a starter supply of daily essentials (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, dish soap and sponges, trash bags, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, etc.) are provided. Once the starter amount provided is gone, you will be responsible for buying what you need for the remainder of your stay.
Charming outdoor spaces are replete with patios, decks, fencing, a garden shed & stone walls. Generous off-street parking with a circular drive behind. Walk or bike to parks and trails nearby.

We are close to the Downtown Pedestrian Mall, UVA, Martha Jefferson, fine dining, outdoor activities, historic landmarks, and local vineyards. Our neighborhood is peaceful, safe, and full of friendly people. Davis Field, 5 acre park, is 4 minute walk away. Davis Field connects to Northeast Park, which is only a 1 minute walk away. We are 0.4 miles from Charlottesville Skate Park in McIntire Park.
Getting around:
We are 1.2 miles from the Ting Pavilion on the Downtown Pedestrian Mall. 1.7 miles from the heart of Belmont. 2.3 miles from Martha Jefferson Hospital. 2.5 miles from the University of Virginia. 1.1 miles from S & P Global. Our family stayed here while attending & participating in our Granddaughter's wedding. Traffic coming in was always congested due to road work, but house was fantastic and worked well for us in accomodating my handicapped husband. All rooms were very spacious and kitchen was well equipped. Stairways going to upper floor was a bit steep and narrow, but otherwise house was perfect for our needs.

Family members from Hawaii Boston California and New York to attend wedding. House was clean and had everything you need. Made our family get together wonderful. We had one problem but host was very responsive and had it quickly fixed

Excellent, high-quality home in Charlottesville. Huge house, lots of parking. We were all very comfortable. We would absolutely stay again with a group!!
