Windrush Cottage

The garden is beautiful especially on the night time, with the garden lights. The kitchen is lovely and well equipped. Red kites visit the garden and they are magnificent to watch! The conservatory is lovely. Rooms are a nice size and pleasantly welcoming. There’s a family bathroom upstairs and a downstairs toilet in the utility room. The drive is narrow so please check ahead to ensure your car will fit, as there are wardens too. It’s a good location and there’s shops and places to eat and drink close by. The Plough pub is nice, and Killingworth Castle pub is too. Blenheim palace is beautiful. The Farmers dog is great, however, it’s really busy. This is 20 minutes away from the cottage, as is Diddly Squat Farm shop. Crocodiles of the world is a nice family day out. An Uber to Woodstock cost £7 which is good. I’d definitely return and would recommend it too.

A lovely spacious but cosy cottage. A wonderful secure garden for our pleasure & our dogs The cottage had all the facilities required for a wonderful stay.

The stairs were very steep so I worried me every time I came down them. Property a bit dusty A washing line or clothes airier would have been handy, only because I’m not keen on tumble driers

No WiFi or any Tv working . Some compensation given but the holiday was pretty grim for my 83 year old sister as no tv for leisure time Parking only suitable for a SMALL car not average size The garden is not fenced on left side. Our dog went through the hedge onto the road . Therefore dogs can only access garden on a lead
