Did not have breakfast on site. Easy registration to park on the street overnight. Clean room. Comfortable and private. Friendly host. Definitely worth the price point.
Poorly equipped kitchen, couldn't find sugar to put in my tea, and I'd forgotten my sweetener. Bit noisy throughout the dining room and bedroom, as sound travels through the vents, and someone was playing karaoke(?) at a very high volume. I could hear every noise traveling up from the basement, even after retreating to my room for the night. Put on the TV fireplace channel for ambient noise to mask other noises, to make it quiet enough to sleep.
Broken faucet handle on the tub (not that I planned on having a bath, but just an observation).

The suite was spacious with it's own attached bathroom and all basic amenities were provided. Location was good too, close to the airport and supermarket.
The host is not responsive at all. The property's main door is coded but the owner did not share any information with us, we texted him on the phone and through booking.com and had to ask someone else leaving the house to call him as well. That's when we texted us the information on just how to get in. Then he asked us to wait in the living room and said he was coming and he did not arrive for 45 mins, I had to keep texting him to let us get into the room. It was a nightmare just to get inside the room.
Moreover, the property says free parking on site, but there's only space to max keep one or two cars outside the garage door and if the other renters park their car there, you have to find street parking somewhere. It's already a very narrow road.
On Monday night I got a parking ticket of CAD 35 for parking my car right outside of the property because trash trucks come to pick up trash. How in the world I would know about that, and I was really frustrated to get a ticket for just parking outside of the house because the owner did not tell us about that. When I told him, he said he was surprised to see that. I asked him to atleast pay for the ticket since I was not informed about any of this to which I never got a response.
Even though the property is decent, I would highly suggest looking somewhere else as the host made the whole experience much worse than it should have been.
