Loved the location, kitchen facilities, accessibility and cleanliness.
Frustrating communication about car park - although advertised as having “free private parking”, we were told after booking it that there is no parking but there are metered (hence expensive) parks around. After persistence we were given a free parking permit which gave us convenient parking out the front.

The location is brilliant with easy access to all the best spots in the local area. It’s a secure building ideal for the solo traveller. After a number of calls, problems with the space were addressed, but it was disappointing that the standard I experienced the first time I stayed, fell significantly short of expectation.
My second visit to Nicholson’s Nest was disappointing and fell well short of my previous stay. The space was not set up for a 10 night stay, cleanliness not up to standard and the key drop did not run smoothly. I had to deal with a number of contacts to negotiate a satisfactory outcome which happened eventually.
