La Maravilla Over The Ocean

Nice spacious well equipped apartment in a large secure complex; big comfortable king-sized bed, well equipped kitchen, big terrace with table, chairs and sunbeds, superb sea-views, great swimming pool at the perfect temperature, short walk to local restaurants and good supermarket. Easy walk to a small sandy beach and lido at Las Galletas, which has more restaurants, a fairly exposed black sand beach, and a sheltered beach, great for swimming, by the marina. Interesting to walk the coast path to the petrified dunes.

Some mosquitos around, so tricky to get evening ventilation right without air-conditioning. Also no basics provided, so bring matches, salt, pepper, detergent etc.

Loved the apartment, it had all the kitchen utensils that you might need, spacious rooms and a perfect view to the ocean. Location is also great, close to some good restaurants and a grocery shop. Parking is free and we always found a spot. I will definitely come back next time.

Could be cleaner, but nothing terrible.

Security, good location, excellent pool, outstanding views from terrace.
