If I could give Masa Kecil Studio Uluwatu more than 10/10 Review, I would. This place wasn’t just a stay, it was the highlight of my entire trip. The “Surf Shack” studio is effortlessly stylish: natural light, clean lines, warm textures, and that perfect indoor-outdoor Bali feel. It’s a private one-bedroom, one-bathroom space that feels like a hidden sanctuary, wrapped in lush greenery with the most refreshing plunge pool waiting after a day in the sun. But what truly sets this place apart is the experience. From the moment I arrived, the kind, welcoming staff made everything feel personal. A fresh fruit bowl, a welcome drink, and a handwritten note that instantly made me feel at home. Throughout my stay, they checked in thoughtfully without ever being intrusive, anticipating little things before I even had to ask. They remembered my favourite local coffee and made sure it was always stocked. I even came back to a surprise Valentine’s gesture that completely melted me. It’s rare to feel that level of genuine care while traveling. The location is unbeatable, just a 5-minute stroll to the iconic Uluwatu reef break, with some of the best cafes, restaurants, yoga spots, and BGS Coffee right nearby. Everything is within reach, yet the studio still feels tucked away and tranquil. WiFi was fast, the space was pristine, and having the entire place to myself made it feel like a true home away from home. If you’re looking for a place that blends design, comfort, and heart, this is definitely it. A stay that feels intentional, intimate, and completely unforgettable. I already know I’ll be back.

The property manager Ogik, was so kind and helpful!

The cleaner couldn’t find a pool towel on my departure and they checked through my luggage to see if I had taken it. they eventually found the towel on the property itself. This was the first time in my life that something like this has happened to me. I was really disturbed by it. I wasn’t going to write about it because I felt so insulted.
