Peaceful retreat nestled on a 118 acre farm! Authentic 1850's log cabin reconstruted with modern amenities (fiber internet!) for a dream vacation spot. Completed fall of 2023 - brand new elegance with rustic charm. Enjoy hiking/fishing nearby, visit charming towns of McDowell/Monterey or take a short ride to Snowshoe or The Homestead. Enjoy fires in the fire pit or fireplace, sunsets over Bear Mountain, and panaromic views. Escape regular life and relax! Owners nearby for anything you need.

This cabin was breathtaking! Just a perfect getaway, love the history of the build of this beautiful place. George and Kathy take care of everything. Always there to help with anything, you will feel like you have known them for years! The cabin was cozy, clean, peaceful, quiet and at moments you will want to cry from the amazing feeling of letting yourself relax from life. We took our Lab and she loved it too. McDowell museum is a must and George and Kathy are full of ideas and knowledge about the area, and what gorgeous views at every turn. Just lovely...stop thinking about your stay at Hogshead Cabin GO!! STAY!! ENJOY WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PLACE THEY SHARE!! THANK YOU GEORGE AND KATHY!!
