Bathrooms need a makeover. No place to hold the shower head in one of the bathrooms.

The hosts were very welcoming, providing homemade gifts in the bedrooms as well as wine, juice and snacks in the kitchen & feeding us fresh fruit from the garden during our stay - many thanks Florence! The location and renovations of the house were beautiful as was our part of the garden (though that was understandably a little dry during our stay). The house was very spacious and well equipped with the 4 beautifully appointed bedrooms in two separate parts of the house which was handy when some of our group wanted to stay up later than others. The pool area was beautiful with plenty of parasols & sun loungers & the owners were very hospitable in providing additional furniture - just keep in mind though that the pool is shared with owners plus their children & grandchildren (maybe only during the school holidays), but this makes for an unexpectedly busy pool!

We happened to stay during 40 degree heat so although we appreciated the air-conditioning systems in the bedrooms, it would have been good to have had fans downstairs too - especially in the kitchen when cooking. We also found that the WIFI everywhere was very unstable, so we often had to switch to personal hotspots when trying to use the internet/watch TV. It would be good to update the photos of the property on the website as we were surprised to learn that there was no longer a walk-in shower (due to a recent plumbing issue) and the shared bathroom (with the jacuzzi in the photo), had a shower attachment but nothing to hold it on the wall & the jacuzzi didn't work. Finally, a small detail, but we'd usually expect towels for the pool to be available when renting a house with a pool, but there were none & the provided bathroom towels were not allowed at the pool. We did look for beach towels at local supermarkets but with no luck...

Loved the rural location! Very quiet, close to local shops, bakeries and wineries. Very characterful home creatively furnished by Florence & Didier with special personal touches and old world charm. Lots of living space both indoors and out. Beautiful saltwater swimming pool - the highlight of our stay!

The sofa in the living room needs to be replaced with a bigger comfier one like the one in the photos.

The house and setting are gorgeous. The house is very well equipped - a real home from home and the pool area is fantastic. The house has its own secluded garden and BBQ too. Florence and Didier as hosts are wonderful - respectful, helpful and utterly charming.

It was all great. Maybe a little upgrade to the WiFi (doesn’t work in all rooms) and air con (or fans) for hotter weather would be helpful.
