Old city cozy apartment

Location was great. Unit is in a local residential building not near the street. Entrance is through an alley into the back courtyard parking. Mostly quiet except a little noise from neighbours when they arrived home. Owner was responsive, helpful, and available immediately. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and his efforts were appreciated. 2 bedrooms and a couch in living room let us spread out comfortably. Washing machine available. Kitchen seemed well equipped but we didn't use it. We received brand new linens, shower curtain and towels. The windows have screens. Note that the property is on the ground level of the building and actually half underground. So you descend a few steps to enter. Heaters in the rooms (provided) were needed in early June. I guess that in the summer this place will be wonderful and cool. It feels a little like a cozy cave!

When we were there, the hot water heater was finicky. We had hot water and good pressure, but not always together. I understand the owner already had plans to fix it. The windows in each bedroom and in the kitchen open to the parking courtyard.
