Apartament Central

The apartment was bright, warm, comfortable and well appointed. Location was also excellent.

Everything was to our expectations!

Patul suficient de confortabil, lenjeria si prosoapele curate. Pe jos a fost foarte curat.

Din păcate această locație nu merită cele 4 stele afișate. Si va explic de ce. 1. Apartamentul este la 20 minute de mers pe jos de centrul orașului, din punctul meu de vedere denumirea locației nu corespunde cu realitatea. 2. Masina de spălat vase a fost nefuncțională și securizată cu scotch pentru a nu o folosi. 3. Bucătărie este din altă epocă, nu este deloc primitoare si nu îți dă chef de gătit. De altfel nici nu am folosit-o. 4. Baia nu este deloc primitoare, la duș garniturile erau pe alocuri înnegrite cu semne evidente de mucegai. 5. Centrala termică care se găsește in bucătărie are sistemul de detecție de gaz dezactivat, ceea ce este foarte periculos și poate pune viața oamenilor in pericol.

I'll start by saying that I am from Craiova, I grew up in the same neighborhood so I know what is what around this city. This is hands down the absolute best property me and my wife have stayed in. From the surroundings, proximity to the city centre, safety of the neighborhood, facilities, modern building and furnishing, amenities on offer, politeness of the host, ease of access and common sense pricing. We have stayed twice (would've stayed more but it was booked out while we were in Craiova). I could go around for pages on how good this property is, but I'll try to be straight to the point. Ease of access: host gives you all the required information, extremely easy to follow Neighborhood: safe, on an important artery of Craiova, stone's throw from the city centre Quality of sleep: not on a busy road, behind the 1st row of buildings facing A I Cuza street Space: it is a two bedroom apartment with all rooms separated from each other (so you can cook without stinking up the rest of the home) Furnishing: it's brand spanking new (like the building), not the cheapest, not the most expensive furniture, but extremely tasteful and warm..."homey", you can feel the personal touch and attention given by the host to this property. Host: fantastic people, communicative, responsive and understanding with requests (of course, as long as the requests are common sense ones) Amenities: microwave, coffee machine, stove, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, fridge, TVs (so it's good for longer stays too) Quality of sleep (important for me as I'm a light sleeper): mattress is good (more on the softer side), no outside lights to bother you (we have blackout drapes anyway), extremely quiet. Proximity to points of interest: about 500m from city centre and old town, literally across the street from a very chic cafe "12", McDonnalds about 2-300m away and plenty of shops and mini markets from where to pick up snacks and groceries.

There's no minus to this property that we could find. Maybe that because it's so good, it's booked out a lot.
