Le berlier 13

Met by host on arrival, Nathalie was very friendly, she gave us a lovely bottle of red wine & some essentials in the fridge, & let us check in early & have a later check out when leaving as our flight was a bit later in the afternoon (thank you!) we felt at home straight away, a very comfortable, peaceful & relaxing homely apartment. Fully equipped, lots of towels, toilet roll etc! We had a great night sleep every night! Apartment was light & airy, 2 private balconies & also great to have the shutter blinds for night time, we felt very safe in the apartment block & the area. It is a quieter area with a few good bars & restaurants, great supermarket! A bit away from the centre but very easy to reach with easy public transport or walking & it was nice to get back to quieter bars & restaurants & the lovely quiet apartment after the hustle & bustle of the centre! Nice stroll down to the river, all was perfect!!

Nothing!!

The apartment itself was wonderful, very well appointed, spacious and clean. There is a lot of construction nearby, so it;s a bit noisy, but that can't be helped. Overall, I would give the apartment itself a 10/10 for comfort, and the location, very close to the IAE Paris campus, was ideal for me. Grocery store nearby was also great.

The pickup of the keys was a major hassle. It was tough to coordinate with the owner, who responded late and with minimal informaitons. As it turned out, we were met outside the building by a woman who was not the owner. She asked us to pay 75 Euros immediately to cover "city tax" or something like that. Sitting out there with our suitcases, we felt we had no choice, but it still does not feel legitimate at all. If you are booking, be prepared to pay 75 Euros in cash to get your key.
