Had a great time.
Great location on the edge of town. Good starting point if you intend to climb Skiddaw.
Quiet location - fellow guests on site were quiet. Well equipped in terms of appliances. Nice electric shower. Interior was obviously recently modernized. Response to queries excellent from the owner although initially establishing contact through Booking,com and Sykes was a little slow. Parking alongside the lodge was excellent.
No handbook or user instructions for the various appliances. I needed assistance to find out how to turn the hob on. Working out how to use the oven and microwave was trial and error.
Parking was under trees which oozed sticky gunk. Needed to buy some glass cleaner for the car. A minor issue in the big picture.
