Self check in js very easy and the place is very clean. The communal areas is good for passing and meeting other people. I booked this for silver week and it was a good place to stay during this time. There is also a convenience store (7-Eleven) about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The area is very quiet but also very scenic
It’s a little far from the tourist spots in Otaru (30minute walk). But there is a bus stop outside. I’d recommend getting an IC card to use the buses to get you in and out of town.
