Absolutely perfect stay.. what a beautiful little hideaway , lovely big cosy bed, warm little heater, plenty of tea coff

Great for an overnight stay, in summer it would be very peaceful.

It was appreciated that some breakfast was available, proved adequate for our needs. The bed was very warm and cozy, we both slept well.

The TV could not make a connection or receive a signal. I tried a number of times, it may have been down to the local weather, which had be inclement before we arrived. There was some confusion as to which POD we were to stay in, I received a txt to inform me I had been changed to No2, but on arrival, no key in the key box. We had help from a local guy on site, who contacted the service cleaner who arrived to help with getting into the Nest

Great for a weekend getaway with dogs

Nice and cosy. Bed really comfortable. All the cooking facilities I needed for my 1 night stay. Coffee and tea provided as well as bread. Also provided an umbrella

The walk to the toilet was a bit slippery. Needs a few more paving stones I think. Otherwise happy with everything

Very clean, I loved the little things like bread, croissant, butter, jam tea coffee biscuits and two little bottles of wine and chocolate on the bed. The heater took time to work out but eventually it was hot hot hot

My only thing is that although there's a fence all around, my little dachshund was able to get under it. Luckily he didn't get into the field of sheep

Great pod, poor setting.

The pod was fantastic. The bed super comfy. Great having a dedicated toilet next to the pod...all very clean. Great garden space. Lovely view over the field. Lovely touches for arrival in the pod. It was peaceful at night even with the window open.

It seems to be set in a trailer park and so the photos whilst accurate of the unit are not accurate of the wider site.. I couldn't find a drinking water tap and I messaged the owners who took over 24 hours to respond and only asked if we had found it not telling us where it was. In that time we bought bottled water. Didn't see the oners at all across the stay.

Superb place to go to recharge the batteries!

So peaceful overlooking field with sheep. Log burner was lovely and warm, logs had been put on ready with more in the storage unit, dog completely enclosed in little garden so no worries with him. Breakfast bits appreciated. Lovely and clean, really cosy.

A beautiful pod to get away from the world

The pod is beautiful and the view across the field is breathtaking. The bed is really comfortable, and lots of attention to detail like towels, tea, bread, butter in the little fridge . There’s even a tv and WiFi . There are solar lights on the tables and pretty lights across the garden. There is your own private loo and sink in the out house in the garden that has been wet walled inside so it doesn’t feel like an out house . There’s a massive fire pit and enough kindling and logs to last all evening. A very short distance away there are showers and a kitchen with extras to use . It really feels magical!

There was absolutely nothing not to like. Don’t be put off by the entrance and the caravans on site .. once you are in your space it’s like being in another world.. stunning!

Peaceful night away

Perfect for a relaxed night away. Easy to find location well signposted, based on a small campsite. Well equipped cabin with a fan, WiFi, TV including fire stick and board games. Two seating areas outside. Although the one with the fire pit was right next to the cabin next door which was occupied, so doesn’t give much privacy. Bed was very comfortable. Some lovely touches left for us, a glass of wine and breakfast along with tea and biscuits and water in the fridge. Overlooking a beautiful field with a view of sheep. Pleased it was dog friendly and ideal as within your cabin there is a garden area which is fully enclosed, including your own private toilet, saving you having to go to the communal ones. The communal ones were right next door and had showering facilities, they looked well kept and clean. It’s great if you have a small dog but could do with the fencing being a little higher on the balcony with having a larger dog. As soon as we arrived a man on site had said to be careful as he’d known a farmer to shoot if the dog escaped into the field where the sheep were so that put us on edge slightly. If you are bringing your dog then we would highly recommend taking them to dogz unleashed before checking in to tire them out. It’s a stones throw away from the site and it allows you to book an open secured field for your dogs to run around freely in. We pre booked an hour slot before arrival. With it being a caravan site lots of takeaways will deliver to you, we had a lush Chinese from Rickshaw in Aberkenfig, arrived 20 mins after placing the order on a Friday night and it was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning and will recommend to friends/family. Usually with these types of cabins they are in the middle of nowhere with little to nothing surrounding them. But everything is on your doorstep here, McArthurGlen is just down the road perfect for a little spot of shopping and has many eateries, we found most stores were dog friendly.

No running water in the cabin itself, had to wash dishes in toilet sink which was very small Fridge door kept getting stuck every time you opened it on separating beam, as it doesn’t quite fit in allocated space Some rowdy people staying on campsite arguing into the night, this can’t be helped I know and you could only hear this when outside, inside the cabin blocks out a lot of noise which is handy

Beautiful and peaceful stay!

Lovely little pod with everything you need for your stay! Fresh bedding, cooking utensils, dog friendly and such a peaceful location. The staff was extremely helpful and brought us fire wood each day for our camp fire. Would definitely recommend this place, and the dogs loved it too 🥰

Worst night stay anywhere, ever! Rats everywhere

Got woken up at 2am to not one but two RATS scurrying around the place! And once i stepped foot outside and turned on the light saw another 3/4 rats! Left the place at 2.30am too spend a night sleeping in the van!

I loved that it had all the utensils and equipment needed, plus how accomodating they were when I told them I would be arriving later than planned. The fire pit was lovely and the bed was incredibly comfy! I will definetely be returning in the future!

Great peaceful place

It is a great and peaceful location, with green fields and animals on files, we had our garden with was very beautiful. We just had everything we needed, friendly stuff and happy to help you if needed anything. Friendly place for dogs. I highly recommend.
