    Early evening we arrived from the airport at the hotel which was within walking distance of Seatran bus station, so the next morning we could continue our journey at our leisure.

    Good hotel for a one night stay. 7-11 up the road. Good sized rooms, very clean. Be aware some bathrooms have a small lip into the bathroom which I locked several times.

    Good location and good price. Hotel was clean and quiet. We knew there were not a lot of amenities but it worked great for the night we passed through Surat Thani.

    Disappointed. We chose this as it had higher ratings on trip.com however I suspect those are just to gain points on the travel agent site. The hotel sells expensive (and terrible) coffee and ‘food’ in the lobby. The staff is grumpy and not particularly accommodating. Perhaps that some management issue but as a guest you feel you're in their way. The rooms have holes in the flooring fixed with brown packing tape. Windows are so dirty you can barely see out. The bathroom does not even have an extraction fan. Even a light above the mirror or a wall socket is not present. The TV is Thai only. There is only one elevator and you often have to wait a long time for the elevator to arrive. The beds were okay and clean. The price is not okay when comparing to The Standard. Ok location and close to the City Pier where boats to the islands depart. Oh and if you're over six foot beware of the sign on the Main Street. Do not expect the front desk staff to care much about it hitting your head.
