Beautiful antique home. we hosted a dinner party here for our elopement out on the lawn and it was perfect , hard to find event friendly houses so we were over the moon when we found this . Doesn’t get much more Capecod than this ! House was clean , beds were fresh smelling and soft . Felt like our own home by the end of the stay .

Our niece was getting married in Buzzards Bay so we flew up from Miami for the weekend. We love history, antiques, and nature so the home was a perfect choice as we ventured back in time to colonial New England with modern bathrooms, ample hot water and comfy beds. The house was well equipped and conveniently located with a quick drive to tasty restaurants, local shops, historic sites and the boardwalk. With three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large living room, and dining room there was ample space for our adult family. On our last morning we enjoyed our breakfast outside at the home’s picnic table by the pond. As we sipped our coffee we watched swans paddle in a straight line as they started their day. A perfect stay.

This is a one-of-a-kind experience. You must watch the Houses with History episode about Mike and Jen’s renovation/historic preservation efforts while you are in the house. It’s really something to be sitting in the space while you see the episode. The space is beautiful (especially if you love historic homes), beds are very comfortable, showers were modern and excellent, and there was plenty of space for our 4 adults and 2 teens. The outdoor picnic table, pond, and boat are perfect for bird-watching. The geese are actually friendly and you can watch the ducks and swans from the benches right next to the pond. The location is excellent. Easy walk to the Glass Museum and a little shopping strip, and an easy drive to several beaches and other towns.
